Friends of Bedford Street Angels
This scheme, launched in the Summer of 2011, supports the project and its volunteers. There are a variety of ways by which you can serve as a ‘Friend’. We’d certainly appreciate your standing with us as we seek to live out the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10, so do please consider it and then complete the Membership form. Thank you.
To proceed further, download a copy of the Friends Leaflet, which covers the above information and also fills in some more background about Bedford Street Angels. To apply to beome a Friend of BSA, download the Membership Form.
Please use the CAF Donation button at the foot of the page to make a one-off donation online or Contact us if you would prefer to donate in another way, such as by cheque or by paying directly into the BSA Bank account.
How might you be able to help?
Adopt an individual street angel – inquire how they got on when out on the street, promise to pray specifically for them.
Receive the weekly Prayer/Report by e-mail and follow what happens each week. For those with no access to a computer we can arrange for somebody in your Church to pass it onto you.
Use the bi-monthly prayer sheet sent to BSA Church representatives, to pass on to those interested in praying for us.
Many ‘Friends’ will pray each Saturday night at home, but we also try to have a small team at the base. They send the street walkers out with prayer and continue to pray, also preparing the midnight refreshments for the street team.
Financial gifts – as a Registered Charity, BSA is dependent on donations for its work, both from churches and individuals. Such things as training, CRBs, red jackets, flip- flops, refreshments all cost money, which, as a charity, we need to find. So no matter how small your gift is, it really will be put to good use.
Should you wish to see at first hand what the teams get up to you are welcome to go out one night as an observer.
